UPAVIM Crafts is heading for the hills!

Dear Friends,

We have exciting news to share with you!

As spring comes upon us, UPAVIM Crafts will be heading for the hills of West Virginia!! Our US Distribution Center will be moving from Ijamsville, MD to Berkeley Springs, WV.

We expect to be closed for around 2 weeks during the move.

We wanted to let you know so you could prepare and order what you need before we shut down operations from April 15-30. We expect to be open again by May 1st but will surely let you know if we are ready before that.

In addition, we will be saving money and the newly renovated building will be warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer than our cavernous current warehouse. What a treat! I admit though that I am also experiencing dread in packing and moving an 1800 sq ft. warehouse a good distance away. This big move and leaving Maryland stirs up many emotions for me. I am very excited about our new warehouse in the small arts and spa town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Our new location and space in town will even allow us to have a small retail store!

And finally, HUGE sadness in saying goodbye to Kathleen after 6 + years, Lori after 3+ years and our dedicated volunteers, Linda, Domi and Cathy. I am not sure how I will get by without them all. They will surely be missed. I will still have Tara to help me through the transition though – thank goodness!
